The Adult Class (Pastor’s Class) at 9:30 each Sunday morning, will begin the 2006-2007 year with a Survey Study of the Old Testament. We will use a series of lectures by professor Amy-Jill Levine, of Vanderbilt University Divinity School. Dr. Levine’s half hour lectures will be supplemented with additional materials and discussion questions by Dr. Smith. This is a broad survey course, and you will gain a new understanding of and appreciation for the Hebrew Scriptures. Join us beginning Sunday, September 10. Lecture titles are printed below:
